“For me, the tour was once in a lifetime experience, I made some good friends on the tour, enjoyed the company of the other riders, experienced scenery and sights I would not have had the opportunity to experience otherwise. The accommodation was good. The overnight stops always interesting and entertaining. In fact I haven’t stopped talking about how great it was! A big thank you to the HDMT team for making the tour/ride a pleasure. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for you, and I would not hesitate to join you for another tour in the future. I have already recommended this tour to friends. As you may recall a mate of ours did another tour which was a disaster and wasn’t structured at all compared to the HEAVY DUTY tour, nor did it offer anywhere near the attractions the HEAVY DUTY tour did. The bike performed to my expectations. The favourite part of the tour for me was the riding, the scenery and the great people I met. I favourite township was Silverton. “The tour was much more than I expected. What would I like added to the tour? Another 26 days! Staying in the heart of Sturgis was a bonus definitely. Great spot. Great people. My favourite part was well, all of it! Sturgis, Beartooth, Pikes Peak, Chief Joseph and Zion were exceptional. Best town and best accommodation? Silverton and Cody equally both! Viv and Brum are two of the best people I’ve ever met. You both do a fantastic job with the tour. I had an absolute ball and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Gaz and Daz did a great job as well.”

What a mind blowing trip that was .The tour was far better than explained and beyond my expectations – the tour was off the planet . If I could add anything to the tour it would be more sheilas n good Aussie beer (COOPERS). Staying in the heart of Sturgis with excellent hosts was gold! Great hosts great location. Easy walking n staggering distance to everything. I had the Road King and once I got used to it (by day two ) it was making me happeeee. My favourite part of the tour? All of it n I mean it! I think the best towns and accommodation was Silverton and Cheyenne .Would I consider another HEAVY DUTY tour? You betcha. I have already recommended HEAVY DUTY to my mates. ”

“You explained the tour quite well in the mag and online. You never left us, when we got to our destination, booking dinners and keeping the kids together and making us a family on the Road. The accommodation at Sturgis was a bonus, so close to the action. Hard to say the favourite part of the ride with all those majestic landscapes, but the people, people make the ride. All accommodation was 5 star (don’t forget I live with goats lol) but probably Cheyenne stood out for me. A mate texted me the other day and said I was in the mag in the tour story. Fantastic! I have to get 2 copies, my mother wants one, lol!”

There was not one problem anyone on the trip had that couldn’t be helped with, I really appreciated the effort put in, I know it’s not easy to keep it all together for a month but the HDMT team did without the slightest bit of fuss, great job, WELL DONE.”
“The best organised tour I have been on. Well worth the money as there is plenty of value for what you pay. How many people get to see the Enola Gay hanger or Paughco’s workshop and Ron’s bike collection. The explanations undersold the tour and was much better than I could have expected. I would like to have had a day or so in San Francisco to visit things like Alcatraz, but didn’t miss it as the tour was pretty full on. I would recommend this tour to friends/collegues in a heart beat!”

“The Tour was everything I expected and more. Everything was explained. No nasty surprises or additional expenses. The only way anything more could be added to the tour is to squeeze more hours into each day or add more days to the tour, the tour gives you a pretty good idea of places you would like to revisit. Would I recommend this tour to my friends? Most definitely!”

We have already sung your praises for a well organised and well executed tour and have recommended you to our Hoggie mates who seem to have already expressed keen interest to join us in 2021. accommodation was superb throughout, but if we had to choose, the hotels in Cody and Cheyenne hotels did it for us, simply because of the historic significance associated with these two establishments and the wonderful comfy beds. We enjoyed Jackson Hole as a town and got to see a lot more there. From our first meet to final goodbye was a fantastic experience, but If we had to pick, Sturgis, Chief Joseph Hwy and Beartooth Hwy are definite stand outs.. Far too many highlights to list. The bike purred like a kitten from go to woe and fulfilled our needs adequately. Very comfy backseat (says Geraldine!). The time spent in Sturgis was adequate giving us plenty of time to visit local highlights I.e. Badlands, Needles Hwy etc as well as ample time to soak up the unique atmosphere of Sturgis. It also gave us a great opportunity to bond with our fellow riders. We don’t see how you could possibly fit anymore in. We were more than happy with the content, which gave plenty of time to see quality sites and features of the country as well as time to chill and chat with our fellow riders. Please don’t drop anything. We wouldn’t change a thing. We were happy with the progressive information from the time of application, the regular updates and response to questions over the phone from time to time.The tour more than met our expectations.”
